Sometimes it's really important to get away: from routines, from to-do lists, from stress and from distractions. And when we get away, it can be easier to realize God's amazing presence in our lives. Zion offers many retreats and gatherings at Lake Chautauqua Lutheran Center (see LCLC's link below for information, summer camp programs and pictures of the camp property and facilities).
Family Winter (February) and Fall Retreats (October)- These retreats are geared for families with kids. They involve great meals together, Bible study and devotions, outdoor activities for all ages, great sledding in the winter, worship times together, games at night and crafts as well.
Adult Winter Retreat (February) - This is a peace-filled, kid free zone to take plenty of time as singles or couples for prayer, Bible study, conversation, relaxation and enjoying God's creation together.
Confirmation Class Retreat (September) - Our staff and small group leaders take 50 Confirmation students down to the camp to discover "Why God Matters." It is a wonderful chance to set the tone for our Confirmation year.
