Meet Our Zion Staff

Pastor Randy has been at Zion since 1991, and is still serving in his first call.  He has the wonderful distinction of being a second career pastor, whose first career was as a computer programmer for 12 years.  Pastor Randy has been married to his beloved wife Pastor Nancy Milleville, with whom he is well pleased, since 1982.  They have two adult sons, Philip and Matthew, and a foster daughter Francein, who came to them from Liberia, Africa.  Pastor Randy loves to encourage each individual to learn what it means to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ through his love of preaching, Bible teaching and leading worship.

In his spare time he enjoys reading, running, biking, working out, gardening and spending time with his family.  He is also a musician, having served as a reluctant church organist for several years.  On rare occasions he can still be coaxed into playing at a worship service, but only when all other resources have been exhausted.  pastorrandy@roadrunner.com

Kristen Arends joined the staff at Zion in 2006 to work as the Director of Faith Formation of Youth.  What does that mean?  She plans and implements all of the youth programming and discipleship for Zion!

Kristen is a huge fan of purple shoes, big chairs and ice cream.  She likes coffee, gymnastics and long walks on the beach.  Luckily, so does her husband Adam!   faithformation@roadrunner.com

Christine Morgan began her position as the Coordinator for Total Family Ministries in February 2008.  As a wife and mother of six children she frequently finds herself exploring life in many different aspects with her family and friends which is one of her favorite past-times.

She finds trying and taking on new adventures as very rewarding challenges.  Reading cooking, playing cards (euchre), and spending time in her craft room are some of her interests. tfamilyministry@roadrunner.com

Pastor Steve Biegner came to Zion in 2002 after serving a mission congregation in the Adirondacks of New York.  His passion is to reach out to all, especially to those who have no relationship with Christ, to share God's love for them.  He spends much of his energy "turning the inside out to bring the outside in."

Steve grew up in the Western New York and is still a passionate Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan.  But when he's not tailgating or doing his thing at church, Steve loves to golf, ride his bike, mow the lawn, spend time with family and pretty much anything else that keeps him outdoors.

Steve's best attribute is his amazing wife Michelle and together they created, and are terrorized by, two great kids, Drew and Lauren. pscbz@roadrunner.com

Nate Preisinger came to Zion in the summer of 2008 as the mission developer for OrganicFaith in Western NY.  He spends time leading that ministry, as well as completing his seminary degree and serving as an intern on the Zion main campus.  That all means that his only free time left goes toward watching the Buffalo Bills lose football games.

Nate is a huge fan of playing basketball and riding his bike that he bought from Target that still need air in the tires.  He lives in North Buffalo and is always happy to be invited out to dinner! nate.preisinger@gmail.com

Elaine Baker, our Christian Education Director, is the "big kid in charge of the kids!"  She has passion, joy and creativity that is contagious.

Elaine has been at Zion for several years, both as volunteer and paid staff.  She lives in Akron with her husaband and two sons.  She loves anything outdoors and especially the entire State of Vermont! christianed@roadrunner.com

April Folckemer is the Office Manager at Zion.  Some call her "the voice of Zion" (due to her answering the phones when you call) or "the brains behind the church."  If you're looking for information about what is going on at Zion or who you need to contact, April is the person to talk to.

She has lived in Clarence for many years where she and her husband Hal have raised four daughters.  When she's not in the office at Zion, she's probably spending time with her growing family or running a WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) event. zionoffice@roadrunner.com
