Stephen Ministry is grounded in Jesus’ command to love one another. Through one-to-one caring relationships, those who are hurting receive the love and care they need to support them.
 
Everyone goes through difficult times. Having someone to care, to listen, to share God’s love with, can help a person get through the confusion, stress, or loneliness they may be experiencing.
 
This ministry is made up of members of our congregation who receive special training to assist them in providing Christian love and concern to other members who are in need. Confidentiality is the foundation of Stephen Ministry, so that all will feel comfortable discussing problems and/or situations, such as a new job, new baby, new boss, separation, grown children, ill parents, death, etc. 
 
A Stephen Minister is NOT:
·         A therapist
·         A problem solver
·         A casual visitor
